Points of interest
1 Port de Pailhères
The Port de Pailhères is regularly climbed by the professional that rides the Tour de France. It will undoubtedly request strength from your calfs. However, the physical efforte you have made won't count for nothing. In deed, at the top of the climb, a unique and remarkable point of view on the Montagne Noire and on the West and Central Pyrenees awaits you !
2 Rebenty gorges
After the top of the Col de Pradel, you are riding right into the Rebenty gorges. This narrow valley is in the wood, it is winding and it gives you a certain coolness in summer. Not far from here, you will dawdle on the Sault plateau which is famous for its potatoes labelled AOC.
3 Usson Castle
This castle might have welcomed some Cathars who were fleeing from Montsegur towards Spain. Nowadays, the former outer wall host the Heritage House, why don't you have a look at it ?
