The pond and the refuge of En Beys

0:00 - THE FANGUIL (1140 m). Ariege cross the wooden bridge and go up the left bank by a track. At the jasse Justiniac (1300 m), there is the GR7 and red and white markings. Follow the track to the end.

1:20 - GATEWAY (1400 m). Cross the bridge and go up on the right bank path to reach a large flat grassy lined faux boulders (1630 m). The well-marked path now a strong attack steep path. After a series of switchbacks, the mountainside short trail to the S; in rhododendrons, it cuts the corridors and scree.

3:20 - STONE LINE (1975 m). Follow the "Canalette" towards the west. At its end, the view opens onto the pond En Beys and the surrounding mountains. Down to the pond, then turn right and follow its left bank.

3:30 - POND AND REFUGE IN BEYS (1970 m). The return is by the same route in 2:30.
