Bivouac area of Ax 3 Domaines

Bivouacking in the mountains means spending the night far from any civilization, either under the stars or with a tent.
6 to 7 tent sites are available for hikers. It was designed to respect the environment as much as possible and not to degrade the natural environment of the plateau, the facilities are therefore minimal with a water point, a barbecue, dry toilets and picnic tables.
We are counting on everyone to leave this space clean for subsequent visitors.

Regulations:
Bivouacs are not allowed everywhere. It is clearly prohibited in certain natural parks or certain protected areas. It is therefore necessary to be well informed about the rules according to the chosen sector.
In addition, the thirty is mounted in the evening (after 5 p.m.), dismantled before sunrise. You do not pitch your tent near a refuge, unless it is authorized (by warning the guard of the refuge). It is of course obligatory to leave the place clean by taking back all its waste. It is also almost always forbidden to make fires in protected areas.
